A little bit about us…

Woodland Dogs Ltd was founded 2003 in the South East, caring for many of our local veterinarians waggies. Various companies have followed suit but WDL was the first and still remains the best Doggy Day Care and Home from Home Boarding Company for your most precious pooch.
I have had many years of hands on experience with dogs from early childhood and I have my fantastic parents to thank for my animal background. We kept everything from geese to pigs.
I have worked alongside various well known dog charities, and have fostered and found forever homes for many dogs. I have a diploma in dog behaviourism and psychology. Our dogs do not want to lead us or dominate us or control us. They just want to be a member of our family and while in my care they become part of MY family.

During your Waggys time here they are walked on a combination of totally private secure fenced in land (for the waggies with bad recall) and a variety of private land (for those with good recall), all walks are relatively mud free. I also have the sole use of a very large private indoor barn for when the weather is unpleasant so your waggy won’t be coming home filthy dirty and smelling of wet dog! Because of these facilities your waggy can be off the lead when they are walked and run to their hearts content with their friends. Your waggy is transported to their walks in a fully equipped ventilated large transit size van.
After a full morning of walking we return to my home so if needed they can have an afternoon snooze in their own bedroom. However the more playful and energetic waggies can carry on playing in my two large secure floodlit CCTV play areas with paddling pools because even in the depths of winter some waggies just love to frolic in the water. The dogs have their own television and radio in their bedroom. It is also tiled and has black out blinds so when it’s hot they can be nice and cool lying on the tiles, its also full of thick duvets and fluffy comfy beds. I do have permanently set up crates for the crate trained dogs, and holiday home dogs will always be fed in crates to avoid any ‘food dramas’.
